Nintendo has revealed that they are releasing Pokken Tournament DX for their newest console, the Nintendo Switch.
Pokken Tournament DX is a port of the Nintendo Wii U version of the game, with an additional five characters added to the roster. All 16 characters from the Wii U version will be found in the game, as well as the arcade exclusive characters Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk, and, for the first time, Decidueye from the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon titles.
The Nintendo Switch hardware allows for wireless multiplayer gameplay, as well as two player tabletop mode for those who prefer a local experience with friends. The game will be similar to the Nintendo Wii U version released in early 2016. This version is said to be a lot easier to enjoy multiplayer games with, one of the frustrating features found on the Nintendo Wii U version of the game.
Pokken Tournament DX arrives for the Nintendo Switch on September 22nd, 2017.
