The price point for Nintendo’s next gaming platform may have leaked from retailers Toys R’ Us and GAME.
A listing appeared on the Canadian Toys R’ Us website, indicating that the console will retail for $329.99 CAD, making it competitive with other consoles in the market. Roughly translated, the Nintendo Switch could retail for $249.99 in the United States after currency conversion, making the device an appealing purchase for consumers when it launches, next Spring.
This coincides with the leak from the UK retailer, GAME, who listed the console for £199.99. The source makes note that the switch will launch with two separate SKU’s, with one including a free game and additional hard drive space. When converted to Canadian dollars (via Google), this adds up to around $336 CAD, lining up almost perfectly with the Toys R’ Us posting.
Nintendo announced that we would not hear any more information, including the release date, price point, or further details until 2017, so it is likely that Nintendo will remain tightly lipped until the official announcement.
The Nintendo Switch releases in March 2017.

That’s a great price. Either way, it is a day one for me. Even if it is 500
