A new Splatfest featuring Transformers has been announced for Splatoon and will launch next weekend.
Splatoon aims to launch a new Transformers themed Splatfest event, starting on August 28th and 9 P.M. PST. Previously, we’ve seen contests like Waterslides vs Rollercoasters, Cats vs Dogs and Marshmellows vs Hot Dogs where a player can pick his/her allegiance and fight for the glory of the cause by racking up wins in Turf War matches. The theme next weekend? Autobots vs Decepticons. Optimus Prime vs Megatron. True Transformers Glory.
The winning team will be decided 24 hours later on August 29th and 9 P.M. PST with the prize being Super Sea Snails – An item used to upgrade your equipment in-game. Have fun, and glory to Megatron.
