In today’s Nintendo Direct, a new Star Fox spinoff title has been announced. Star Fox Guard, launching with Star Fox Zero, is the evolution of Shigeru Miyamoto’s Project Guard.
This title puts a spin on classic tower-defense games, with robots, cameras and a ton of player-generated content that can be shared between players. Similar to Super Mario Maker, players can create all new enemy patterns and layouts for their opponents to combat.
Star Fox: Guard will launch alongside Star Fox: Zero when the game launches on April 22nd, 2016.
