The Sword Art Online series may be in development for the Nintendo Switch.
In a recent Bandai Namco Livestream, Sword Art Online series Producer Yosuke Futami and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Producer Keishi Minami spoke about the possibility of the series coming to the Nintendo Switch in a Q&A. Minami spoke about being a gamer at heart, and spoke about how he is in talks with Futami and other superiors about introducing the Sword Art Online titles to the Nintendo Switch.
This is great news for fans of the Sword Art Online series, as the Nintendo Switch is very popular worldwide, following the fan base of Sword Art Online. The most recent game, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, released alongside the new spin off series Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. Right now, it isn’t clear which Sword Art Online title would first make its way to the Nintendo Switch should it arrive on the platform, but we speculate that it would include the entire series of games.
