Development for the highly anticipated title, The Last Guardian has been shaky, causing another delay.
Originally set to be released on October 25th, 2016, The Last Guardian‘s release date has been pushed back until December 6th, 2016. The developer took to the official Playstation Blog to confirm that they have encountered more bugs than they initially anticipated. As such, the team will require more time to deliver this highly anticipated title to retail.
“A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.”
Fans have been awaiting The Last Guardian ever since it’s reveal during Sony’s E3 Press Conference in 2009. Since this time, the game has moved platforms from the Playstation 3 to the Playstation 4 after numerous development issues.
The Last Guardian will be released on December 6th, 2016 for the Playstation 4.
