Update: Nintendo announced via Twitter that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release for the Nintendo Wii U on March 3rd, 2017.

Nintendo confirmed the rumors are true. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will launch alongside the Nintendo Switch on March 3rd, 2017.
During the Nintendo Switch presentation on Thursday evening, Nintendo showed off some more gameplay for one of 2017’s most anticipated titles. The trailer itself is incredibly emotional and jaw-dropping, we would advise you take a peek at it after the break.
What is odd, was there is no mention of a release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Wii U. We have contacted Nintendo to see if there is any information regarding the Nintendo Wii U’s release.
