A new patch released for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild this morning appears to have fixed a problem that most gamers are faced with: Frame Rate drops.
The patch was rolled out to both version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild this morning, with Nintendo stating that “Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.” It is referring to the game’s framerate, which occasionally drops when in high-density areas.
Some fans are sour that the patch took so long to release, with many gamers having already beaten the game since it’s launch on March 3rd, 2017. That said, as long as Nintendo is working to improve the performance of the game on the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo Switch, it will prepare fans for the content expected to launch late this year.
This is because of the game’s expansion pass, which adds new content to the game when the DLC arrives later this year. New story content, a hard mode, and additional places to roam are said to be included, however, exact details are unknown at this time.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
